Day-1 | Arrive Arusha, Tanzania

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) you will be warmly welcomed by our Staff and driver who will transfer you to your Kahawa House boutique accommodation in Arusha for a pre-safari briefing and overnight stay where you will spend one night.

Day-2 | Arusha | Lake Manyara

Your first day of safari you head out towards Lake Manyara National Park. As you travel through beautiful grassland and rolling hills, you may see the Masai herding their cattle and goats. In Lake Manyara National Park, the park is a bird watcher’s paradise. Expect to see a variety of animals such as impala, elephant, dik dik, bush buck, hippo and if you’re lucky see the famous tree-climbing lions of Manyara.

Ngorongoro Farm House

Live the legendary atmosphere of past times on a colonial style coffee plantation farm house

Hand plaited thatched roof tops, ample verandas and colonial interiors at Ngorongoro Farm House, a small and exclusive hotel built on a 500 acre coffee plantation, all of which has been designed to take you to the comfort and style of past times. Take a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relax in the fragrant gardens or enjoy the spectacular sunsets with the Oldeani volcano as a backcloth.

A wonderful stop-off during a safari on the north circuit of Tanzania and a privileged place from where one can visit the crater or enjoy activities such a walking safaris to the volcano or excursions to Lake Eyasi on the Rift Valley still inhabited by the Hadzabe tribe.

Accomodation

Chalet type bedrooms situated at ground level with a private terrace or balcony. Overlooking the gardens and/or coffee plantation. Ample and comfortable. Rooms with a double bed or two single beds. The rooms have a bathroom with a shower.

Day-3,4,5 | Exploring Serengeti Plain | Two days of glorious game drives in the land of endless plains.

Two days full game drives in Serengeti National Park. All meals are served at the lodge, however; at the driver/guides’ discretion, a picnic lunch may be taken to maximize game viewing. A range of different habitats provides many different animals. Look for lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephant, hippo, impala, zebra, wildebeest, grants gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle and many others. Also there is a large variety of bird life. The sheer size of this park and its amazing changing scenery make this a day to remember.

Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

Explore the endless plains of the Serengeti from Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge. This camp is strategically located to ensure that all areas of the Serengeti are within reach of our guests, including legendary locations like the famous Maasai kopjes, the Museum of Olduvai Gorge, Seronera and the Grumeti River. It has been designed with a modern African decorative style that creates a fresh and bright atmosphere, but very cozy and with the right amount of luxury Guests can attend to the show of the Great Migration from the comfort of their tents.

Elegant tents built on raised wood platforms with an an en-suite facilities and an outside shower. After a day on safari guests can enjoy a refreshing shower under the stars. Each tent has its own private terrace from where to enjoy the landscape and the environment. The family tent consists in two tents interconnected and a shared bathroom and private porch.

Day-6 | Ngorongoro Crater

A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the world’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you’ll descend through the early morning mist and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. With more than 30,000 resident animals, it is an awe-inspiring wildlife experience. You return to the lodge for a late lunch and then have the afternoon at leisure. Dinner at the lodge.

Day-7 | Tarangire National Park {1 night}

Departing from Ngorongoro after breakfast you continue to Tarangire National Park. You drive through the highlands and the Karatu district, viewing the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations here before journeying down the spectacular escarpment where you turn south onto the main Arusha, From here to the lodge, you’ll enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge. After lunch and perhaps a swim, the remainder of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive, late afternoon you will return to the lodge for sundowners and relaxation before your dinner.

Relax after a day of emotions in a luxury camp with the best views of the Great Rift Valley, Wildlife calls at the door of Maramboi Tented Lodge. Zebras, giraffes, warthogs, gazelles. You could see them appear between the palm trees from the terrace of your exclusive tent, from the swimming pool whilst enjoying a cool drink after a walk with a Maasai guide or whilst you enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars.

Day-8 | Departure

Depart the lodge in the Mid-Morning make your way to Airport for your onward to Home or Zanzibar Island.
