On this day hickers will have to wake up at the midnight and get a light breakfast and then continue hiking in order to reach Uhuru peak before dawn so as to witness the beautiful sunrise. Leave to the peak at 12:00 AM, switchback up steep scree or possibly snow, and reach Gilman’s Point on the crater rim at 5,861m (18,640ft) between 4 and 6 AM.
Here the view of fabled crater and its icecaps can be seen. As the hickers land Uhuru peak which is the highest peak at Kilimanjaro Mountain the hickers will be making a very successful journey whereby taking photos and videos will be inevitable for hickers to congratulate themselves for such a biggest archievement. After enjoying the summit descending back to Kibo camp will follow where lunch will be served. Then after the journey continue down Horombo camp across the saddle.
